Victoria Sponge is a really well known cake. The cake itself is a quite basic recipe and it is filled with jam and cream. We chose to give it a little twist and infused the cream with rose petals. If you want to give it even more rose flavour you can also sprinkle the cake with a home made rose syrup. Instead of jam we used different summer berries! If you want to colour the cream or the cake you can use the colour from hibiscus, this will give it a slight pink colour.
